Namak Para is a Pakistani and Indian snack food that holds great cultural significance. We know you love namak paray and we love them too, so we take care to prepare them according to a specific recipe and technique, enriching your taste buds and cravings.
Namak Para is crunchy, savory, and flaky. They are another evening time snack, served with tea or distributed among people on special occasions. In order to make them, fresh dough, subtly flavored with spices, is mixed, sheeted and cut into small diamond shapes and fried in hot oil at a specific temperature. Then they are packed in brown bags for our customers. As with all of our snacks no food colouring or preservatives are used in making our namak para.
Namak Para is often seen on festive occasions in both India and Pakistan, such as Diwali and Eid respectively. They are often bought in bulk, since they keep well stored in an airtight container for several weeks. People like to eat our special namak para with their evening cup of tea, and serve them to guests that come over. We often sell our namak para, in combination with desi ghee jalebi and hot and spicy samosas. But with or without, they taste good either way.
